Supreme Court Collegium led by CJI B.R. Gavai issued several resolutions making recommendations for appointment of Advocates and Judicial Officers as Judges and appointing Additional Judges and Permanent Judges.
The Collegium on 11-9-2025 made the recommendations for the High Courts of Meghalaya, Patna and Manipur.

The transfer recommendations were made to infuse inclusivity and diversity at the level of High Courts.
Justice Subhendu Samanta was elevated as Additional Judge of Calcutta High Court on 18-5-2022.

A vacancy in the office of the Chief Justice of the High Court of Orissa arose consequent upon retirement of Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh.
The Collegium also recommended the extension of term of Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande, as Additional Judge of the High Court of Bombay.
The Collegium led by Justice Sanjiv Khanna, CJI on 5-2-2025 issued the statement concerning the appointments.
The Collegium in its meeting on 5-2-2025 recommended the appointment of 5 Permanent Judges.
The Collegium on 11-1-2025 recommended appointment of Judges for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana High Courts.
The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Justice Sanjiv Khanna, CJI, on 7-1-2025 had recommended the name of Justice K. Vinod Chandran, currently serving as Chief Justice of Patna High Court, as Judge of Supreme Court of India.
The Collegium recommended the names of 2 Additional Judges to be appointed as Permanent Judges.
Justice K. Vinod Chandran was appointed as a Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 8-11-2011 and was elevated as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Patna on 29-3-2023.
