ABOUT THE 3RD NLUJ – TRILEGAL CORPORATE LAW REVIEW SUMMIT
The Journal on Corporate Law and Governance (JCLG), National Law University, Jodhpur is pleased to release the Call for Papers for the 3rd NLUJ – Trilegal Corporate Law Review Summit, scheduled to be held on 8th – 9th November 2025, in offline mode at the NLU Jodhpur campus, in collaboration with Trilegal.
The Summit is a flagship academic initiative that brings together legal professionals, scholars, and students from across India to deliberate on contemporary and cutting-edge developments in corporate and commercial laws. The event features:
- Panel Discussions with leading experts and practitioners, and

Paper Presentations by selected authors on pressing legal themes.
Each edition builds on the legacy of critical scholarship and impactful dialogue, aiming to foster innovation and thought leadership in corporate legal policy and governance.

Participants are encouraged to submit original, high-quality research on topics of current relevance under the broad umbrella of corporate and commercial laws. Suggested araes include (but are not limited to):

CATEGORIES OF SUBMISSION
- Long Articles: 4000—7000 words
- Short Articles: 2000—4000 words
- Legislative Comments: 2000—4000 words

Case Comments: 2000—4000 words
(Word limits are exclusive of abstract and footnotes.)
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Submissions must be original and unpublished. A similarity index up to 10% is allowed.
- Each manuscript must be accompanied by:
- An abstract (250—300 words)
- An originality statement

Formatting Requirements:
- Font: Garamond; Size: 12; Line spacing: 1.15
- Citations: Footnotes in Garamond, Size 10, using Bluebook 20th Edition

Titles and subtitles: Garamond, Size 12, Bold, Small Caps, Centre-Aligned
Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors.
ELIGIBILITY & MODE OF SUBMISSION
Students and recent graduates from any recognised law university in India are eligible to participate.

TIMELINE OF THE EVENT
REGISTRATION
There is no submission fee initially. After the shortlisting process, selected authors must pay:
- INR 2500 for single-author entries

INR 4500 for co-authored entries
(This includes accommodation and meals at NLU Jodhpur during the Summit.)
AWARDS
- Winner: INR 35,000 + Internship at Trilegal + Certificate of Merit
- First Runner-up: INR 25,000 + Internship at Trilegal + Certificate of Merit
- Second Runner-up: INR 15,000 + Certificate of Merit
- Top 6 entries: Publication in JCLG, Volume VII, Issue 2
- Top 15 entries: Certificate of Merit
